The Silver Message

Once upon a time, there was a
young girl named Ruby who lived in a country far away from her family. She studied in a college and also worked two cleaning jobs because she wanted to support her mother and brother back home.

Ruby was kind, hardworking, but her life was remarkable busy, and she often felt tired. Even though she tried to stay strong, she sometimes felt scared that she would not be able to handle everything alone.

One day, after finishing a long class, Ruby felt stressed and decided to take a walk near the seaside. The ocean waves were soft, the wind felt cool, and many families were enjoying the sunny day.

As Ruby walked along the boardwalk, she saw a small wooden stall where an old women was selling handmade journals.

One blue journal wrapped in cloth caught Ruby's eye. The woman smiled and told her, "This journal is for someone who forgets how strong they are." Ruby felt touched by those words and decided to buy the journal.

At first, Ruby used the journal in a straightforward way. She wrote her homework, her job hours, and her daily tasks. But something surprising happened later.

Whenever Ruby wrote about her worries, fears, or problems, she noticed that the next page showed a short message written in shiny silver writing. The message was gentle and encouraging, like " You can do this" or " Take it one step at a time." These messages made Ruby feel calm and supported, even though she did not know how they appeared.

After a while, Ruby's life started becoming even more stressful. Her manager gave her more shifts, her classmates needed her help, and her brother asked her for money for school books. Ruby felt like everything was happening at once. One night at work, she accidentally, spilled cleaning liquid on an important office map.

The ink spread everywhere, and the map was ruined. Ruby froze because she felt scared, she would be blamed or lose her job. She opened her journal, hoping for comfort, and the message said, "Being honest is better than hiding mistakes."

Then, Ruby decided to be brave and follow the journal's message. She walked to her supervisor's office and explained what happened.

Her heart was beating fast, and she expected him to be angry. But the supervisor surprised her by saying, "Thank you for telling me the truth. We needed a new map anyway." Ruby felt a huge sense of relief, and she realized that honesty could make problems easier to handle.

Finally, when Ruby went home that night, she opened her journal again. This time the silver message said, "You are stronger than you think."

Ruby smiled softly because she finally understood that the journal was not magic even it was just helping her notice her own strength. She felt proud of herself for choosing honesty and courage, even when she was scared.

From then on, Ruby lived with more confidence. She still had a busy life with school and work, but she did not feel as afraid as before. She continued writing in her journal every night and learned to trust herself more.

She understood that small steps, honesty, and calm thinking can make a significant difference. Ruby believed that one day she would reach her dreams and make her family proud.
