Hardwork of a girl






1. Exposition: A young girl named Rupinder Kaur and her nickname is Ruby. She wants to become a successful girl and wants to complete their all family desires and you know what, she is an ‘Associates of Arts’ student. She works for long hours in a cleaning company but sometimes she failed in time management.

2. Rising Action: Ruby always love to manage all the things by herself  but sometimes she failed to managed everything. One day, she got to know that she needs to work all over night and in the next morning, she will have exam in the college.

3. Climax: In everyone’s life, there is one person who always motivated to you as like that Ruby is always motivated by her family so she remembered everything where she did  their all efforts to get win and on that day as well, she talked with their manager who is also a international student and understood the Ruby’s situation and helped her.

4. Falling Action: By talking with their manager, Ruby changed her shift with another girl and again managed the things in a nice way and also reached to their college on time to give the exam.

5. Resolution: Life and motivation always helps the person to encourage to do the things and the most important thing is that make a good record on workplace always helps the person as like that Ruby will get off  from their work which days she will have college and the manager give extra hours to her so that she will replace their holidays hours with them.

6. Conflict: There are two conflicts in my story and those are Character vs Self and the another one is Character vs Society. My character Ruby is struggling alone to complete all the needs of  their family and taking all the responsibilities as a hardworking international student and employee in the cleaning company. Apart from this, she is hopeful and motivated to face challenges like time manage and responsibilities of long hours work.

7. Plot: My story is all about a young girl hardwork for their family and for herself who is an international student studying ‘ Associates of Arts’ in college and also doing job so that she can take care of her family’s needs and get success in their life. Suddenly, she got work overnight before her college exam and she feels overwhelmed. After that, she remembered her family’s motivation and shared her problem with their manager and then, manager helped her to swap shift with another girl. At last, she will able to do the exam next day in a college just because of their good reputation and intellectual skills on their workplace.

8. Theme: The theme of story is confidence and motivation always encourage to do something in their life no matter how many times the person is failed. The story teaches us having good behaviour with everyone always helped us and also person can do everything if he or she wants to do in their life and onre day, he or she will also get success.

I learned a lot of things about creativity or deepening a character that telling a story or creating a story is a different thing make the strong and real characters in a story help to build the interest of the readers. Moreover, the writer needs to add some suspense in the story to make it more interesting. Rupinder Kaur or you can call by her nickname “Ruby”, who is hardworking girl with long curly hairs living in a new country far away from her home. She is doing two jobs in a cleaning company and also trying to do best in their studies. Life is not easy for everyone especially for Ruby after her father passed away. Reflection 2

  1.  My biggest takeaway from this class was that setting is also crucial to make the story more creative and setting can also affect the characters and emotions of the story with the use of all the five senses such as sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. Moreover, the story looks more realistic with the use of all these senses like in my seaside settings image, I make my story more creative after looking toward that image that the people love to enjoy that view and also spend their leisure time with their family members and the brightness of the image shows that the weather is too hot.
